Dutch farmers prefer Saanen goats. These beautiful white goats are known for the amazing taste of their milk. The goats' diet is designed so that one goat produces an average of no more than 3.5 - 4 liters of milk per day. Too high a milk yield reduces the nutritional value and taste of the milk. There are usually 1,000 to 1,300 goats on a farm.They are looked after by the farmer's entire family, there is no practice of employing external labor. All work (sorting, feeding, milking, etc.) is highly automated. The farms are periodically subject to both external state audits (under the "Kwaligeit" system), as well as internal corporate audits according to such parameters as milk extraction, storage and transportation, storage conditions and animal nutrition, providing them with clean drinking water, treatment and use of medications, organoleptic and nutritional characteristics of milk.

We source our goat milk from 100+ Dutch farms, who have been working with us for a long time to maintain a uniform quality standard. We maintain close cooperation with the raw material producers, assisting them with livestock consulting, feeding, cross-breeding, and more.

The furthest farm from the factory is located no more than 2.5 hours away. Close distances from the farms to the production ensure maximum nutritional value and impeccable taste of the milk. The formulas are produced from practically all fresh milk, which enters the factory daily.

Our company group has 4 own production facilities. Each of them is located in the Netherlands. Special attention deserves the newest, one of the largest dairy cream production plants in Europe, which was launched in 2018 in Heerenveen. The enterprise, perfectly equipped with the latest technology, is built in accordance with the recommendations of the Codex Alimentarius (note, Codex Alimentarius is a set of international food standards of the WHO). Also, all the company's enterprises are certified by the BRC, IFS/FSSC 2200 systems.

The new factory, launched in 2018, was built with special attention to product safety and quality for our little customers. Each can of formula produced by the factory has an individual code, which allows it to be tracked from the farm to the finished product. A sample of each batch of product (referral samples) is stored in the factory laboratory until the expiration date of the specified batch. Continuous video monitoring is carried out on production. The product leaves the factory exclusively after passing quarantine, which ensures final control of the finished product.

All production stages — from quality control of raw milk to finished product and formula packaging — are strictly monitored 24/7. Controls include, but are not limited to:

• Analysis of the nutritional value and safety of incoming raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products
• Special sieves for sifting (protecting) dry fractions of products and formulas
• Special instrumental control that eliminates the ingress of foreign inclusions (including metal and glass)
• The control system "Eagle Eye" monitors the compliance of coding, placement of measuring spoons and packaging materials and other parameters
• Product weight of products
• Regular online control of production

The company has an internal research and development department. Its main task is to develop recipes for new products. All recipes must be developed taking into account WHO recommendations and the latest data in medicine, dietetics and nutrition. This department is engaged in organizing and conducting clinical trials on goat milk and products made from it. The most famous world-class scientists and medical institutions are involved in the work. It has become a tradition to hold annual seminars on goat milk and Kabrita® products for doctors from different countries of the world.
